When did you join CFU, and what made you walk through those doors?
My first work out was on January 8,2018. I was at my heaviest and knew I needed to commit to making a positive change. I responded to a Facebook ad.
Do you remember your first WOD, or your thoughts during it?
1st WOD- all I remember is the box jumps, it was hard. The positive atmosphere and the idea that somehow, I could beat the challenge group goal of 32 pounds in 6 weeks.
What’s your favorite thing about CrossFit?
Something new every day and I continue to see positive results. All shapes and sizes are making it happen at their level, at the same time. Accountability.
What type of workouts do you enjoy doing the most?
I don’t have a favorite, I enjoy the variety of the program.
What’s one goal you have for the next year?
Beat Jose during the 5:30am class at something
What would you tell anyone walking into CFU for the first time?
Give 100% and you will not be disappointed.
What’s your greatest achievement, or what are you most proud of thus far?
I lost 35+ pounds in ten weeks, feel 10 years younger and enjoying more activities with the family.
