CFU Offers New Weightlifting Class for 2018 as permanent addition to the schedule.
Beginning January 6, 2018, CFU will add a Weightlifting Class at 9AM every Saturday!
The class will specifically focus on the snatch, the clean, and the jerk. Each week, the programming will alternate between movements pertaining to the snatch and movements related to the clean and jerk. It will be technical. It will be heavy. It will be amazing. You will get stronger!
The class is an extension of the Olympic lifts seen in CrossFit WODs but provides additional and personal guidance on technique. Athletes will not only develop their knowledge of these lifts but incorporate technical drills and skill progressions to improve the lifts.
Utilizing this class will transform these skills well beyond a 1RM! What better way to improve technique, lift heavy things, and get ready for the Open!
