CrossFit is a combination of cardio, strength training, olympic lifts, mobility and gymnastics. It’s an hour long session comprised of mobility, skill work and WOD (workout of the day!) that is coach programmed and led.
We’re everyday people, just like you. We have day jobs and families and yearn for more time in the day. We’re a community made up of teachers, nurses, event planners, construction folks and more. We believe in working hard, chalking up and making every single rep count. We leave our egos at the door and are working towards better versions of ourselves, while cheering each other on and having a blast. Want to see what we’re all about? Schedule your onramp session or drop in from your home box. Planning to stop by for open gym? Just take a look at our guidelines here.
Our Programming Philosophy
CrossFit Uncompromised has a programming track for members of all abilities. Whether you are a competitive athlete, a beginner, or you just want to look good naked – we’ve got a program for you.
Our CrossFit class is a combination of a group led warmup, time to focus on a skill or strength aspect and finishes up with a metcon, CrossFit benchmark or other type of WOD. Our programming runs in 8 week cycles, including a strength focus, metabolic training, and a gymnastics focus. You can expect barbells, time on the rig and other equipment to be a part of these day to day classes.
This class is designed for athletes at any level – yes, ANY level – who want to expand their athletic knowledge while incorporating skills and drills transform into a more efficient and relentless athlete on the competition floor. Athletes will be educated on quality movement patterns and points of performance, receive one-on-one movement analysis, and benefit from strategies to achieve high performance in both the class and the competition floor.
Our Cardio Circuit class is perfect for all levels of fitness from novice to experienced. This hour long class focuses on skill/strength and cardio with the use of Kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls and body weight movements. The intensity level is up to you, which is perfect if you are just beginning and need to ease into the movements and go a little slower, or if you want to use the workout as an active recovery. Speed things up if you are looking to work on your conditioning and endurance.
CrossFit is based on constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements. In order to build foundational movement patterns, and your understanding on how our box is different than your last fitness journey, athletes are required to complete a two class Foundations program. During these classes, coaches will teach the basic foundational movements – squat, push, and pull- so that strong and safe movement patterns can be established from the very beginning. These 1:1 classes are great for athletes of all abilities so that you can learn class structure, terminology, and progressions or scaling options to match your ability. Building great movement in these areas will translate over into your workouts and your lifestyle. Bet you didn’t think there was actually a proper way to carry those groceries from your car!
Having great movement mechanics isn’t just for the grown ups. Cub Cardio provides a fun class for the little ones to get up and move! With relevant intensity and an emphasis on proper movement, kids as little as three can enjoy a thirty minute class that will get them away from their devices and into fitness! Interested?
